Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

Matt @OVTune, curious if the 2018 bugs will be worked out in 1.05. After the tsb's were done still seeing some regressive power, not very smooth acceleration, and the bumpy road feeling under slight load while pulling a hill.

 

Well it’s the 1st. Where’s my 1.05?!

Plot twist, he releases twin turbos before 1.05

He said he was going to create a new thread for 1.05. When that happens, there with be chaos like TW has never seen

At this point, does it really even matter anymore

 

I really wanted Full Otto for the MT truck. With the AT it’s not really as much of a concern. Unless Full Otto will help prevent unnecessary downshifting, if so I’m in! Hopefully Mat can implement this when he begins the custom tune requests.

So its hot out, and im driving the truck for lunch time errands, and I am quite certain I felt that bumpy road feeling when slowing to a stop. Im pretty certain this isnt a bumpy road in reality. Also, as i was accelerating back towards home, up hill, i thought, how cool would it be to have a little extra pep... then i got rage passed by an angry mom in an actual minivan (not a 4runner lol) and it made me think, i need to save my shekels for the TT kit... I think it was a toyota minivan or something.

 

I need 1.05 tonight because I'm going on a 500 mile road trip south

Edit: I'll also have 3 other people in the cab and about 700lbs of cargo

 

Take your kit with you and flash on the road. Ive done it on numerous occasions when the octanes i am tuned for arent available.
