Do you have chrome on the tacoma already? Is your grill chrome or black?

If you have chrome on it already - then stick with chrome.

If you don't have any chrome, then stick with black.

I've got a red taco too and have decided to go black. Black rims are not so (god I hate this stupid non-word) "blingy". To me they give a wheeler a more burly apperance. Kind of like a drab green military hummer compared to a dubbed out (p.o.s.)H2. In other words, to me, chrome says your more about looks and black says your more about function.

If you've got some extra coin and want something totally unique...try a polished aluminum wheel with a semi transparent powdercoat. Good luck with your choice.:)

    Just give it some time
Yeah, an old thread, but I feel like posting. I'm still in the process of making this decision myself. I think I would have chosen black off the bat, but my Taco already has the chrome accents and came with steel nerf bars. However, I'm thinking of powdercoating them and getting black logos.

Also, I want to add some gold highlights (not many, just a few). Would match the color scheme of our apparatus wonderfully.
