You'll find something other than booze there. People need to let loose after a good cram session.

parents still turned your bedroom into a bordello, though.

oil fields are hardcore. I briefly thought about putting my geology degree to use as an onsite geologist or something, but damn the schedule was killer.

I worked in a rig all summer, was rough, but the pay was decent.

The company my uncle works for runs a 4-12 schedule with great pto and insurance.

I’d even be willing to do 2 weeks on 2 off in Texas while I’m young.

That's just it, *while you're young*. Just have a backup plan for when you hit 30 and your back hurts so much you can barely stand.

    There's always booze.

But it's about moderation. The people who only study burn out, just as the people who only party burn out (more like wash out).

Get a 20 hr a week job, take a 2/3's load of credits, and enjoy yourself.

By looking at the fins on the boots, it did. Indeed. By the power vested in me, not a mother fucking thing worth having it on for

To be honest, I didn't "notice" anything either, but you'd probably need a tape measure and a protractor to really notice it.

All I know is that it's lower than it was which makes my CVs have a shallower angle, which is never a bad thing.

Yeah that sounds about right. Too many people treat college like a prison sentence. It only happens (hopefully) once so, make good memories. I dont plan on getting wasted but I also dont take 20 credit hour semesters. It will take me 3 years to get my associates. Hopefully Ill find a 4 year school that will take most of those credits and in another 2 years after community college, Ill get my BS in Industrial Engineering.

There have been many a day that I want to say screw it all and become a Toyota Master Tech through the same community college. If it wasn't for the fact that techs make crap money, Id do it. Ill be happier in the long run doing Industrial work though.
