2nd Annual Bear Mountain Oktoberfest Meetup

September 22 – October 28, 2018 (Sat-Sun) The tradition continues! Oktoberfest 2018 will be hosted at Anthony Wayne Recreation Area, just a stone's throw from Bear Mountain State Park – located at Exit 17 off the Palisades Parkway. Parking: $10 per vehicle (valid only at Anthony Wayne Recreation Area)

We'll meetup in the parking lot next to the Mobil Gas station again before heading to the park in a convoy. Gas station address is 98 Hook Rd, Peekskill, NY. There is Dunkin Donuts if you want to get coffee. Festival starts at 12 but the bands don't start until 12:30.

Bigger? Its oktoberfest, you just drink, eat and talk BS. I mean maybe after a couple we can try to break the bears out of the zoo but I think thats frowned upon. Freakin liberals gotta ruin everythin

 

Updated 1st post with some info and a poll. Oct 19-21 is out since that is the weekend of the AOAA event. Last year we met up at the parking lot around 11 and were at the park around 12. Do you guys want to do that again or meet a little later??

Columbus day weekend would be fantastic, I'll already be in wurtsboro at my father's property. Bear mtn is only like half hour away. Other than that any weekend in October should be good for me

 

Bigger as in camping, picnicking other stuff

 

I'm totally in again... As long as it's a Sunday. I have to coach my kids in both soccer and baseball on saturdays.
Oh yeah... Columbus day weekend is out for me... It's my anniversary and we're already booked camping elsewhere.

We’re leaving for Moab on Oct 12. If the date works, I’m down to do it again this year.
