    I'll stick with the stronger axles and hubs.

    There's only been a few times I've thought 2 low would be helpful anyways. It would be nice for wheeling on the slickrock, but that's about it.

    3” lift. Sway a ways 2.5 on 285 75 16 and much more
    If you have 14'' 700 pound springs try removing your front sway bar. I took min off for a few months and it seems to ride much better.
    With heavier spring the body roll is not as bad.

    I think you'd still be better off in 4 low.

    Tight turns is about it. On slickrock where it binds the xfer case really bad, but you need the control of low range. That happens several times every time I wheel Moab.

    Also, going down tight switchbacks it could be helpful. When going down black bear, a buddy in a 2nd gen with an auto put it in 2wd, and made the turns tighter than me, as the xfer case binding pushed the truck through the corner and increased the turning radius. I didn't dare put it in high range though as I needed low to maneuver carefully around the corners and multi point turns.

    2lo with a j shift case is as simple as putting a switch on one wire.
    Comes in handy when a trail is lumpy enough to require real slow speeds yet not 4wd.

    I think if I didn't have an auto locker I'd have it. I put a switch in line to interrupt the signal to the ADD. The driveshaft would spin and the stub shaft would get all the power.

    Makes sense now. I was stuck thinking there wasn't an way to do it at the xfer case like with the push button cases, but that would work assuming you don't have a lunchbox locker. :thumbsup:

    When I had manual hubs, 2 low was fun to just see what it was capable of and it definitely helped me turn since my driverside axle is always locked.
