    If they salt the roads inside the basin it will wash the salt into the lake. Tahoe is heavily protected we have 80 plus feet of clarity rite now.

    No, salt is highly corrosive (ahem toyota frames, ahem), and there are plenty of studies that show the salt poisons nearby aquatic ecosystems.

    The Tahoe basin is an especially sensitive area.

    It's a sand gravel mix and gets cleaned up every spring.

    I cut it down and put it under my 97, But because it is a v6 frame I have some issues with motor mounts and trans mounts so I am building a new frame.

    Thats the plan for next spring/summer. Im looking for is a dirt cheep truck that I can fix next summer and see what I can sell it for.
