Nope. No trade. Now that price was not out the door. After tax and all that nonsense was $32500. And yes it’s a 4X2. The dealer also gave a lifetime warranty. I’m happy with the truck. I might get some leather seat covers like I’ve seen on here. Will have to live without the auto headlights. Bummer.

Hey guys, after a bit of negotiation between a few dealers in my area I have the following quote and wanted to know if it was a good deal before I pull the trigger!

2018 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x2 Double Cab Long Bed

$31000 before TTL, $34250 out the door with all taxes and registration paid for. No tech package. Carpet mats, tow hitch, and tint included.

A couple other dealers wanted at least $1-2k more. Thanks in advance!

Just bought mine in the Pacific Northwest, sent an email to all the dealers in the area with a link to this thread. Everyone wanted to know everyone elses numbers and I eventually got the following...

2018 DCSB TRD off road, manual transmission, Cement

options-- TRD exhaust and all weather mats

    MSRP--$36757
Sale price--$32400 including dealer fees, but before TTL

I was happy considering how few there were out there with this configuration.

Probably not the best, but the best I can find locally and I'm happy. 2018 DCLB TRD OR 4x4 AT in SSM for $38K flat out the door after the salesman pissed me off and I got the fleet manager and financial manager involved, I guess that's one way to do it? Comes with tech package, door sill protectors, and all weather floor mat.

I just picked up a 2018 DCSB off road with tech and premium package in Cement yesterday!

I ended up getting the price down to $36482 (1000 rebate included) + TTL. From what I calculated this is about 1500 below invoice.

I drove 2.5 hours each way to purchase from Del Toyota in Pennsylvania because the dealers that I contact throughout NJ wouldn't come within 1500 to that price and they were charging ridiculous fees on top of it. Del Toyota was straight forward with no B.S. I highly recommend them.

I was torn between going with the Sport or Off Road but I decided on going with function over form. I really wanted that hood skewp though :)

Del Toyota is awesome, I am lucky that they are my local dealer and didn't have to go far when I ordered my truck. They definitely are very easy to work with and will get you exactly what you want.

    Congratulations on the new ride!

I know about NJ dealers...horrible experience. I had to drive 2.5 hours into NY for mine. I didn't get nearly as good a deal as you got, but they were the only ones of the 94 dealerships I checked with that had the configuration I wanted. They did come up on my trade so that helped a bit.

Nice buy!! Just got mine for 37k and was pumped on the deal, you did even better! One thing i wish i got was the TRD exhaust, mine came with the cast aluminum running boards (same cost), but at 37k they were done dealing with me I think lol.

    Thanks!

It was painful. I even tried to go through Costco and the referred dealers wouldn't give me a price or even return my calls even though they had the truck that I wanted sitting on their lots.

Pretty basic? Over $38k MSRP means it was pretty optioned out, I think. P&T package with some other accessories? Nice price, though. You got a good deal.

A nice feature. Wife has that on her Avalon. But meh, I've never had that on any of my daily drivers and it's just not a big deal to me. Now a Homelink Mirror is something I pretty much need to have. Had one on my 4Runner, on my 2012 Taco and just can't see myself farting around with a garage door clicker. The 2018 Sport I bought didn't come with the Homelink feature but I made it part of the negotiation and the dealer installed one for me.

The auto headlights are different in these trucks. Just leave the headlights on, when you hit your key fob door lock twice after getting out of your truck, It automatically turns the headlights off. So when you get back in and drive your lights are already on the “on” position. I usually hit the door lock button on my fob twice anyway for reassurance, so it was no big deal.

This would mean your headlights are on all the time when you drive....the other poster wanted the auto lights with sensor. I myself have no worries with the current setup. I have my DRL's programed just like my door lock/unlock sequence (one click on remote) and outside/inside lights all programmed via the EnTune console.

Yeah, that's pretty rare. Did the sale price include the customer cash? Which dealership was this? Can't find anything close to that deal around here. Most what I'm finding is MSRP $35,900. Sale price of $34k and $1k customer cash. $33k sales price.

I ended up going with Lithia Toyota in Springfield Oregon. When I talked to them they had the truck coming into the dealership in 10 days, so they didn’t need to go find me one, which helped a bunch I think. The second best I got was $33k but that truck had the tech package. That was from Ron Tonkin in Portland. Hope this helps!

Well I hit the lottery. Close friend of mine is the finance guy at the local dealer. He mentioned to me they were gonna break the monthly record and sell over 400 vehicles this month....so I decided to stop in and see if they wanted to play. Those crazy ppl gave me 24k for my 2nd gen and I got em down to 41k for my new 2018 pro. 74D322BC-00ED-4B6C-A10C-5885342A041F.jpg
Can’t say I was 100 percent looking for a new truck but I knew end of the month today and the m trying to break the record they would wheel and deal it bit. Took 8 hours of negotiating but man it was worth it!

Coolest color vehicle I ever had. I would get complements on it all the time. Hopefully the next owner enjoys it as much as i did.
