No difference, really, and that angled tip does help to deflect the exhast out from inder the truck. I won’t be so worried about it hitting now when going over ruts- Ive already scraped my tow hitch and spare lightly, but so far I've managed to get out and move the rocks that would have hit my tailpipe.

Added the Raptor lights and painted the Toyota logo. I will probably have to repaint it since it's not a true color match and it's kind of throwing me off. I believe the handicap placard decreased my horsepower !!

I did some detailing today. First, I stripped the old wax using Dawn dish soap, then I used a clay bar (first time ever doing this, never heard of this process prior to my Tacoma purchase), and finally a coating of wax (P21s). Overall I’m pretty impressed with the results! But damn, my arm is gonna feel it tomorrow.:curls:

Put the splash guard back on, they aren’t very durable.

They are OEM straight from Toyota. They pop off like 4-wheeler fender flaps.

I took my OEM splash guards off for fear of breaking them or bending something if they hit something, and replaced with $12 Plasticolor plain ones - they were cheap, flex on rocks and have a cool mountain logo sort of like the Toyota one. Thinking of painting the mountain line white... maybe.

Thanks for sharing! Just added to my Amazon wish list. At this rate I’ll need a go-fund-me lol.

    These trucks are awesome

If you look above a few pages back at my exhast bob, you can see the rear one mounted on. They dont fit the curvature of the fender like the OEM ones do, so you have to McGyver them a bit and dirt does get behind them as seen in my pic- but they are totally functional for wheeling on gravel roads and stuff.

I actually tried the lower priced Mother’s Back in Black this week and was pleased with the results but I’m always looking for something better.

Finally got my AJT key fob put together! Getting the transponder out took some work, but I did it without harming it! I'm not a huge fan of the Inferno color of the fob, it's quite a bit darker... But I may just hit it with some inferno paint eventually!

I got my Inferno fob today (because my interior trim is Inferno), and it looked more brown to me. Maybe I need to put it next to the dash and compare. :notsure:
