Made this bench last weekend as a test. All the holes have plugs now. Made from western red cedar.

Been a while but I’ve been lurking..

So last Friday a lady backed into my truck while it was parked in the driveway. At first glance it didn’t seem like much but I took it for an estimate and it was $1,100 worth of damage. They want to replace the whole front bumper. I called her insurance and they said they need to do another estimate but since the truck is paid off they will just cut me a check and I can take it wherever for repairs.

My plan is to take the check and buy an aftermarket bumper instead and next time she decides to back in to me we won’t have any issue

So...I need recommendations and any and all knowledge for front bumpers on that price range and who wants to do a mod day and help me put it on?

 

Ebay All-pro knockoff. You could get front and rear for around $1100.

 

I wouldn't go with Pelfry right now, seems they're having issues.

I just finished building a new table top for the dining room table. Still needs one final sand,but wife needed it for baby shower tomorrow. I'm happy with it, I'm at no form of a wood worker

 

I thought about it but took it to a buddies and we fried it up

 

It's good that way too. My favorite way is smoked even though I haven't the foggiest of how long temp etc to do it. Usually the guy I go out with does it.
