the original registration info is post #17. If you pay godaddy a fee to make the registration private, they will hide some info like shown in post #15. godaddy is located in arizona, but the actual registrant can be anywhere.

 

news to me. all I was saying was ol' dude that runs the CR instagram probably did about as much effort as I did typing it into google and saw "Arizona".

 

Sounds like a company I would do business with.

I have registered a domain name with godaddy many years ago and they always had that option to make info private for a fee. I think it was mentioned in the other thread the whois info got changed to private recently. someone captured the info before it got changed. I don't think it was necessary to make it private since CR already explained.

Yea... blowing off steam and committing fraud. I have been in different reputable businesses over the years, and as a business there are some lines you don’t cross.

Good they owned up after they were caught.

 

So IANAL but this apology is probably the second stupidest thing they could have done after infringing on a trademark. They broke the anti-cybersquatting consumer protection act and then admitted to it in a public forum. If I were Rago Fabrications I would sue the shit out these... Stable geniuses for damages to their brand, loss of revenue, trademark infringement, etc. We are sorry doesn't fix the damages their company endured. No sales does not equal no damages. Traffic alone is damages.

Third stupidest is not having legal council and if they do how are the decision makers too stupid to run it by them.

I am not able to speak for everyone but I believe this can be called closed. We have done everything we can do from our end. Additionally we do our best to stay clear of them and let bygones be bygones. We have been working hard to move our company into our own direction and doubled down on doing our best to focus on our customers needs and help the community when and where we can. We get requests all the time to make some products that they do, and have specifically turned them down in an effort to avoid any further issues and be as fair as we can. We wish all parties involved nothing but the best.
