Well.. I found me a PSA rifle kit i like.. bought it yesterday..

 

They had a URL that was really close to rago fabs website and it redirected to the Cali raised website they have now taken it down.

 

That's a little shady, but its common with online businesses.. if you can buy a domain that will redirect to your page, that's more clicks for you.

 

That's why when you start a business, you buy all similar domains and redirect them to your business.

 

Dropping the truck off at 1 to get the windows and windshield ceramic tinted. Gunna look sweet!

 

I guess they didn't think of that simple practice.

 

Just read the last couple pages. Pretty wild, I hope they’re not skipping out on those orders. I bet the new tax on steel has something to do with it

 

While likely be part if it; My vote is they lost span of control/ grew too much, too quickly. Others in this market segment are apparently thriving.

Edit: Toyota is selling more Tacomas and 4Runners than they ever have.

 

They seem to have dismissed that notion in the thread but who knows. Facebook posts say they were dealing with personal issues. The head sales rep Michael posted on facebook as well that they let him go with no warning and he signed an NDA so couldn't comment on the status of the company.

 

I wonder if there is a divorce...??

 

You're right, somebody else in that thread who is close to the business proved that the price of steel would have to be astronomically higher than it is now for them to be financially ruined because of steel taxes. There's a lot we don't know... And it's probably really complicated. Some of those guys are making some pretty awful allegations, but if I gave them thousands of dollars months to years ago with nothing to show for it, and then hear this, I would be pissed too. I hate the idea that they took money and floated orders... I hope that's not true.

 

That's my thinking. Complications from that in a family owned business. Time will tell I reckon.

 

I agree. If they had to take money to fund previous orders- they may have been insolvent in debt.
