Chirping engine noise normal?

Just started to notice this chirping noise in my engine. Not the ticking I know that’s normal I’ve heard that since new. I’m talking about the higher pitched chirping that sounds like a bird. I have about 77,000 miles on the engine so far. Anyone know what the noise could be or if it’s always been there and I’m just noticing it now.

High pressure fuel pump. Happens to many vehicles because of ethanol in the fuel. They don’t have a fix but it’s not damaging, they say.

 

There is in fact a TSB for the chirping pump. Mine was replaced per TSB. They do have a fix. Search search search.

 

Funny, mine has been replaced twice by TSB. Still chirps.

 

Paperwork? Mine still hasnt chirped after being replaced. Did they in fact put in the new pump? Manufacturer had made a change to the HPFP and a new changed unit is in rotation.

 

Thanks guys! Sorry yeah I did only a limited search since the noise came about so suddenly, stupid impatient people lol.

 

I guess my other question would be then if there is a TSB for it will they replace it if I’m out of the original warranty but have the Toyota extended platinum warranty.
