Before and after pictures of the controversial raptor grill. Haven’t made a decision myself on preference. Haven’t hooked up led yet. Many people ask if the grill insert will fit in factory shroud and that’s a NO. Totally different mounting style. I had the shroud color matched to my mgm. Any comments ?

I had to remove old peeling window tint the other day from our Chevy Equinox (wife's vehicle). I found a great video on youtube that I thought might help others wanting to remove their tint..hope it helps..

No dice on the tensioner bearing. Chirp is still there at idle, went away if you put it in gear. Im at a loss, it will go to the shop in the next few weeks I guess.

Try taking a small rod of some sort watch out for the fan, and touch it to each piece spinning while the other end is on your ear like using half of a stethoscope to listen. Water pump bushing maybe?

Went and got everything I need to do an oil change including the oversized filter everyone here seems to recommend. On the way home it dawned on me that I should install a fumoto valve while I'm at it. Long story short, oil change is on hold till fumoto shows up.

That's normal behavior for bearings. They shift in place and noise may go away temporarily; but noise will return. The other bearings to look at include water pump, power steering, alternator and AC compressor.

Im reading a lot about a throwout bearing issue. Next time we hear it I may poke my head under the truck.

Changed all drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic plugs UNI filter on air pump
Rotated tires . Better than going to the dealer and waiting 2 hours while they screw something up.
Plus i get satisfaction of maintaining my Tacoma.

Installed an UltraGauge last weekend. The selling point over the ScanGaugeII were the confirgurable audible alarms. As much as I try to always take a peek at my gauges as I drive, I find myself going long intervals without looking. The audible alarms give some peace of mind if coolant starts to go high, or voltage drops, etc...
