What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yes that’s the neighbors house in the background, a New Mexico adobe house much like mine (in the pic below)

 

I can see that happening in NM, west Texas, southern Colo., Arizona but not in Wisconsin!

 

I coated a bunch of stuff underneath the truck with fluid film and did a full tranny flush with new tranny filter.

 

Finally hit 36k

 

Do you have a link to the footwell lights? They look so damn cool. How are they wired?

 

They are just some cheap truck bed rail led lights I bought at WalMart. It comes as a string with 4 lights with a long first wire section, I just cut the wire where it comes out of the preceding light and then placed the light up in the foot well shining down then respliced each light to the long 6’ section of wire from the kit.

Put on a TRd oil cap and radiator cap. Why not.

 

I really like this and just might go for it. Any complaints? Does it feel like it's on the cheaper side. By not fitting in the factory shroud, did you mean you had to do some modding? I like it, I have a super white and think the grey/black color it comes in will look nice

 

Got my Anytime Rear/Front Camera mod installed and working. Worked on the very first try too!

BTW, any thoughts on how to left-to-right flip the view on the Front Camera?

Starting off right with our first grandchild.

Don't remember if it was 4:10 or 4:11 gears we put in today. Wanted it back close to what it was before I put the 285's on for speedo and pulling trailer long distance and gas mileage.

 

Installed a pop and lock codeable tailgate handle with a reverse cam and installed a Sony DDIN Apple CarPlay radio. Thanks to all the threads here as well as videos on YouTube it was a piece of cake. I didn’t take any progress photos because it was my first attempt at any radio/wiring/component mods/installs so I had my hands tied. But when I’m feeling adventerous enough to spend a few hours taking everything apart again, I’ll make a vid and take some pics.
