Here is my personal update to all of you. I have a disclosure agreement, and I literally LEGALLY cannot say even the smallest detail of what’s going on with the company. What I can tell you is my last working day with Pelfreybilt was last Wednesday. I was let go, so anyone trying to reach me I have not been at the shop and I do not have access to my emails. I did my best to update you all 100% to the best of my knowledge and what was given to me from the owners. I never tried to deceive anyone and all of this came as just as much of a shock to me because while I was a crucial part of the company, I was only an employee. I did my best everyday to give every one the best customer service I could with what I had and I very much enjoyed my job. I appreciate those of you who know there was nothing personally I could do for anyone and those of you standing behind Pelfreybilt as they “right the ship”."

I’m hoping some bigger company just buys them out. I don’t know all of the technicalities but they seem to have a lot of business, enough not to be failing.

I feel bad reading all of the comments from the guys with thousands down in payments still “waiting” for their product. Must be a sick feeling.

Same. If I were them I'd jump ship and try to get my money back from my credit card company.

I read someone saying they were funding old orders with new money. Not sure how true that is, though.
I’m the last to point fingers since I don’t own a business, but it seems like some bad money management was happening somehow. They have/had a huge customer base.

If they go out of business can Mobtown copy their front bumper?:boink:

No beer is necessary. Paw Paw would work, let me know.

I put stickers for more horse power!
I was supposed to start and finish my bumper today but ex-girlfriend called me in the middle of the process.
I can’t stand the wait from vendors; and about that, whats going on with pelfreybilt? What happened?

They're having cashflow problems and are talking with investors this weekend. Aren't taking anymore orders and aren't answering phones or emails.

Speaking of pelfry, anybody have a good way about removing the rust on the rear bumper? I know we get a lot of road salt but I figured it wouldn't look like this after 3 years.

I'd just take a wire wheel on an angle grinder to the rusty areas and repaint it.
