    Ah Yeah.

Do it yourself. Brick the ECU then try again. Seriously though. You won't brick.

From what Ive read Lexus uses it also. Its a corporate 3.5L putting out over 310 HP in some applications. I found it fascinating to read about its design. Variable timing on the exhaust and intake valves. 12 fuel injectors. One exit port for each bank so the exhaust headers are more compact and facilitates turbo charging and easier ability to cool the gasses. It gets mounted longitudinally or laterally. Etc.

My TRD OR runs great. I love the way it howls around 2k rpm.

I’m at the dealer now (3 hours in) and they are trying to say my truck, a 17, has the latest update yet I haven’t been here since the TSB release. Can someone please tell me what software version it should be showing?

I have a 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 6AT. I went into dealership today to get this new TSB. I was surprised to find out when I was done that instead of giving me the new one. They gave me TSB-0077-16 r1 from July 2016. They said the new TSB does not apply to my truck and that this is the most recent. Has anyone else had this problem?

Found it. After I told the tech and the service advisor I’d just techstream it myself they stayed gone about 5 minutes and came back and told me I was right - there was an update. I told them I knew I was right and have done my homework. Their reply is we can see that. Geez. Almost 4 hours now.

The tech is remarkable, I agree. I've also read a lot about it. But I'm still left wondering why all the quirks.

That was apparently a long time ago Bro. 4 hours now for a reflash and side window seal.

Does this apply to the 2018 MT also or only for the Automatic?

Yes it does apply only to the AT and it does apply to your truck. If it's a MT there is a different update and a thread somewhere.
