How do you dry your truck?

I use a leaf blower.

 

78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen with lesser amounts of argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, neon, helium, and other gases.

Cotton towels.

 

Mine kinda stand up in the corner. I'm pretty sure they'll ruin the finish on my truck.

And if they don't...that white smear isn't automotive wax being applied...

 

i take her up to light speed. gets the water off real fast.

but nah i usually take her around the block try to hit 50...then chamois whatevers left

 

Wow, I'm in the 19% that just lets it dry. Hell, I'm lucky if I wash it, who has time to actually dry a truck/car??

If I don't dry it then it will have a million spots all over it...

 

For $20, I picked up a pack of 15 micro fiber towels (15"x15") and a bottle of Eagle One Wax As-U-Dry.

I usually wait for it the sun dry about 50%. Then I spray on the wax on each panel (like 1 door at a time) and wipe it down with the micro fiber towels. It is VERY easy and leaves a perfect glossy wax. The towel stays damp (can be wrung out if it gets too wet) and it cleans up all the water marks.

Best part is you don't need to worry about spraying plastic or glass. It wipes right off and doesn't leave any marks.

Waffle Weave Microfiber towels. They hold a ton of water and once damp work even better. A terry towel would take 3 or 4 towels to dry the truck. If using Wax as U Dry I can get away with one Waffle Weave and just use a terry towel to do the wheels and door jambs.

 

Amen on the waffle weaves. What I really like about them is that I can throw them in the washing machine with my other microfiber cloths.

Some other drying products are harder to clean, so they end up getting dirty and scratching your paint. I wash my waffle weave after every use so it's perfectly clean when I use it.
