    What is “add line X”

    Edit: http://sosoffroadconcepts.com/05-11-tacoma-front-winch-bumper/

One of the options “add line X”

Also, if I don’t get black powder coat what is the finish on the bumper? Just raw metal?

For suspension, I already have Billy’s. Will this be enough to hold a bumper or will I need to upgrade too? Please no o_O

Line x is bed liner coating for the bumper

And depends on the weight of the bumper. You may lose a little height

Shocks don't hold the weight the springs do. Any plate bumper with or without a winch will need some heavier than stock springs to hold the weight, besides billies what is your set up? Line-x is the truck bed coating. It's super tough and more scratch resistant than painting or powder coating. Down side is if you do scratch it you can't really repair that scratch that easily. But I have seen a line-x'd bumper of his take a beating and don't think it ever got a scratch @HrBrad8 can attest to the toughness of line-x. If you get it unfinished then it comes raw metal. You can coat it how you want. I just sprayed mine with krylon rusty metal primer and then a bunch of coats of satin black paint.

I believe the 5thyear code for 15% off is good till tomorrow. If you don't get in on the sale you can use my code Traillimo and get 10% off the fab work.

You should line-x your whole JK it's easy enough to take the body off the frame. The ultimate rust preventative!:boink:

IFS skid and a couple bed bars with a hi lift mount. Looking to put a rack on the bars and probably throw my spare up there for now.
Suspension will be the next venture before I look at a rear bumper with a spare swing-out.Wish I had enough $$ to just do it all at once!

Yeah but if he's running the stock springs will need to upgrade to some of the OMEs and if add a winch and running the lighter weight OMEs should upgrade to the heavier ones. But the springs are pretty cheap and easily done at home to save some $$$.

If I were you I'd really look into the swingout. I was all for it for a while then after seeing a few trucks with them and knowing all that weight is cantilevered out behind the axle I opted for bed mounted spare. The swing out does look sick thou.

Yea for sure. Just depends on what bumper he was looking at. I went with trail gear to save the weight.

And yea, that bedliner is expensive to have done professionally. I’m sure someone around would do it cheaper, especially if I prepped everything first.. but if I was gonna go that far I’d do it myself. It looks great but from my experience with the interior, bedliner hold dirt really well so it would be really tough to keep it looking at least moderately clean. The only time my floorboards look clean is after I prep and respray the interior haha

I really like my weight over the axle, but the swingout is convenient. I was hoping the suspension would help counter balance the weight. Guess I really need to look into it!
A better rear bumper will be added after the suspension!
