I’m running Toyo r/t and have been pretty happy with them. Little noisy past 65-70 though but not unbearable. 59 lbs 285.

Tall skinny is definitely the way to go I think. I've put almost 40k miles on my truck this year so obviously can't afford the mileage hit of normal 33s.

They don't even look that skinny.

First off hi to my fellow pacific northwesterners! Secondly, for those of you working and cruising around the Snoqualmie Hancock (I guess it’s now Campbell) tree farm, are you seeing any elk up there?

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
There’s elk, but not many. All on the southern half of the tree farm. By the way, welcome to TW.

    Re: Tires

I currently have 265/70 Hankook Dynapro ATMs on my truck and they've been awesome, I highly recommend them. Great on the road and great off road as well. One of the reasons I chose these tires is because they are light weight (39 pounds).

I just bought 285 Falken Wildpeaks. One of the reasons I went with those was because they are available in a SL sidewall, which is only 51 pounds a tire.

    Welcome.

Every now and then I'll see a lone bull or cow deep up there, but they're mostly within the first 6-8 miles of gate 4 and towards the tokul area. There's quite a few that I've seen up spur 10 also towards lake Hancock.

    I'd run it as is.

He did the same to a xj, minus the 7.3, still on 43x12x20's.

I need to get a 1/4 copper propane line made, just a couple feet of it. Does anyone have any recommendations in the Seattle area?

Might be easier to just check out the offerings from Mr. Heater for hoses. They have all sorts of ends and lengths. (just seach Mr Heater hose in amaon)

Doing copper isnt hard depending what you are trying to connect to. The copper pipe can be flared just like a brake line with the same tool. So just a matter of getting the right fitting that goes to into Source #1 and then has a flare side. Same Source 2 and flare side. Just make sure the flare sizes are the same lol. But sometimes by the time you buy fittings its cheaper to just buy premade hose.

You can just use NPT fittings but youll need gas rated sealant (either teflon tape or dope)
