Would it take about a month to get here after they ship out? I don’t think they would air mail them. So maybe by November sometime we will have them.

I would give it a month for shipping. Gotta get a container(or two) then load. Won’t be the only one on the ship. Then gotta get to port unload and clear customs before going to the distributor.

He’s not the only shark circling. I might jump on the right color, too. Graphite or Mag Blue, anyone? I’m unofficially waiting for the second round, and hoping Hyper Red is an option!

Nope. At this point, $500 means nothing compared to the credibility of the non responsive vendor.
Personally showstoppers “offer” to accommodate order changes for other sizes was pitiful.

I’d circle too if I didn’t put money down and already bought tires after the vendor specifically requested buyers to call him so he could sincerely explain the delay in March/April. 2nd round will prolly be $600 more.
1st round folks put down their cash for Vendor and wheel maker to proceed with this endevour.

    @ShowstoppersUSA

This vendor had everyone hyped up...especially with that torque wrench...what’s the deal now 9 months in?

I’m waiting also. Chuck seemed sincere in April when he wanted to speak to us personally when it was delayed then. I bought tires after I spoke to him them. That was almost 5 months ago. If I disdnt already buy tires; I’d be out. His offer for 18’s to compensate for this delay was pitiful

I really don't see how it is Chucks fault in any way. Only Rays/Volk knows the time frame. Chuck knows as much as Rays/Volk provides and I feel based on available information he has been quite open and honest.

So you don’t think the vendor that took our orders (money) and coordinated this project should provide is with any info?! Paying Customers on this venture should just google this from now on?
Don’t mean to put words in your mouth but your bias for this vendor is really starting to show.

    :hattip:just presenting the facts sir

I want these wheels as much as you do, just old enough to understand manufacturing and reality when it comes to time frame. I am fortunate enough to live 30 minutes away from Chucks shop, if anything I am defending Rays/Volk. (In the late 90s my friend ordered custom magnesium wheels from Rays/Volks for his BMW M3, it took a year and a half)

    1st off..these aren’t magnisium.
Yea, I get it and I’m old too. I just don’t need the video post from Volks about manufacturing and what not. Facts is that money was took and multiple deadlines or “Target” dates have come and gone. No “sneak” peeks on these wheels have ever been posted. I don’t care about what’s happened in the past, just make the present right. And again, where is Chuck? Do I need to chase him
on IG? That’s not my interest, sorry.
Are my facts incorrect? If so, I will see myself off this thread.

Cannot disagree with you at all. In our defense you are absolutely right about multiple missed target dates and no teasers and minimal updates.

    I offer another perspective:

We are getting the best price for these wheels, each delay means it is more inexpensive for us as our price is locked. We will literally be the first 25 ever to have these. Everyone after us will pay more.

Yes, I think we are in sync now. Price doesn’t mean much at the moment.
In all due respect, nothing matters at the moment because the end customers aren’t informed.
I have TEs on my DC2 and BBS LMs on My ISF. authentic wheels are important to me but this instance is BS at best in terms of customer expirience..
