Did you use your card at a gas station recently? Like at the pump.

 

All the time.... I always yank on those readers to ensure that it's not a scammer. Same thing happen you? The charges came from San Antonio..... Which we have been doing work at.....

 

Hate to break this to you, but they use a skeleton key now by opening up the front panel, and put the skimmer inside the machine now. You never see it. My Sam’s checks all of its pumps every morning before they turn the, on.

The thieves are getting good.

 

Damn it.... May have to go back to using cash and western union for payments.... It's the 2nd time it's happened in the last few years. Just gotta be more careful I suppose.

It’s technically not...but for this subject the mods tend to leave them. The “help so-and-so get a lift” funds aren’t allowed at all.

It has happened to me in the past. I always go inside to pay now. They used my card to pull like $600 from an ATM somewhere around baytown. I use the Chase Liquid card now if I have to pay at the pump or anytime I have to give my card to somebody else. I don't keep much on there and just reload it when I need to. So if they try to use it, it'll just get declined. I'm pretty sure the card was skimmed from the 7-11 at Brodie and W. Cannon.
