1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

My cap had the tracks installed when i picked it up from CL but the tracks are roughly 37.75" middle of track to middle of track from each other. On the interior side, my cap has the reinforced roof and its about an inch in from the end of the reinforced area on each side.

 

Yeah i dont got tracks but there is a place local that will sell me some and install for 200$ish
So ill probably do that once i get a rack.

I also need to get the shell re seatsed right, because when i got hit the repair shop took it off to fix the bed side and put it back on at a angle. Need to replace the gasket around the rear glass too.

Maybe just easier to get a new shell and have it color matched lol

 

I told you that when you first started talking about your lift install. Offered to help you out but you were to busy with your wisdom tooth pull lol.

 

No No No. You pick up the cap seal and if you need help, let me know. Easier than finding a shell that matches and cheaper. The glass seal depending on how bad can be worked on. The cap seal to use is:

temp re-seat it yourself until you deal with that seal. Just take the clamps off and crouch walk it in to position then nudge it from the outside until lined up.

 

I didn’t realize you were that close haha. If you recognize the Costco and Union Landing, you must live no farther than 10-15 mins from me. Probably the closest TW to me.

Although I have to admit I do like the bare look. Throw some clearcoat on there and they’d look nice.
