wells gents I have a question. Just got a 2018 TrdOR about a week or so ago and it already had the TRD exhaust on it from the dealer which I was jacked about. It sounds great and I’ve always been one to constantly mess with exhaust setups on stuff but I was wondering if anyone has cut a TRD exhaust to where it just dumps over the axle. Curious how much it’ll change the sound or if I would get any drone. Just not digging the tip shape or the chrome for that matter. Any input or experience with this is greatly appreciated.

Regarding the tip, I'd suggest scuffing it up with sandpaper and then spraying it with some high temp heat paint (black). That's what's what I'm going to do with my Borla tip.

    Congrats on the new Toyota.

I would suggest selling it and getting something cheaper if you are just going to cut it. See if you can find something that is better for off roading if you are just going to chop it up. That way you at least get advantage of better routing. The sound you will get if you cut it will probably make it not sound as deep. But you never know. Just grab the saws all and post a video so we can see what you get. Do before and after so we can get a good idea of whether it’s good or not.
