    Pretty easy!

    - DISCONNECT THE BATTERY!!!

    - Remove the airbag (T30 TORX, 1 per side) Remove the 2 plastic covers and you’ll see them there.

    - disconnect the plugs from the airbag ( take 2 small flat heads and stick it on each side and lift it slowly for each plug...be gentle)

    - You will see 2 screws per control holding it to the steering wheel. Be gentle when prying the controls from the wheel.

    - you will then flip it over and you’ll see for 4 screws, remove them and the bezel will pop off.

Been a long couple days of rust control on the small spots of the frame (Rustoluem Rust Reformer) and Amsoil HD metal protector spray on anything metal on the undercarriage (not the exhaust pipe- Last thing I need is the neighbors thinking the truck is on fire). Though the truck has mostly lived in FL and TX, it found its way up to VA. Been watching cars go by that have lived here longer than me and have been seeing quite a bit of rust up here by my standards anyways. Figured I'd get a jump on it early.

Also swapped out fluid in the rear diff. I was digging through the receipts in the glove box where previous owner kept record of all work done (great way to keep them...). Truck is just shy of 78k miles. Nope! Never done. The fluid coming out was really nasty. Thankfully no worrisome metal shavings on the magnet. Took if for a drive after the switch and everything felt good.

Washed and waxed after a Montana run. And finally did the rear differential breather relocation after having the parts for years .

Nothing done to my Taco today.
But something I 'd like to fix.

When filling the tank, the nozzle shuts the fuel off, and tank is not full.
I had this issue on my 2008, and periodically I had to remove and clean this box (see pic); after removing all dust and dirt from it, all became normal again.
    DSC_1183.jpg

Now, my 2014 Tacoma doesn't have this box.
I saw on another thread I have to check the ONBOARD VAPOR RECOVERY VALVE, and the DRAIN HOSE CHARCOAL CANISTER.

I would appreciate any diagram to locate what I have to check.
Did another TW member fix this issue ?

    Well this is great.

I go to install my Cali Raised 52" curved light bar. First of all, the cable that goes from the light bar down the side of the A-pillar is too short. The connector would be outside of the hood, exposing it to rain, etc. But even if it was long enough, the connectors between the light bar and the wiring harness don't match. The pins on male connector are too big to fit into the female connector.

And the light bar cover? That thing is worthless. Nothing but two strips of black plexiglass with little tiny magnets embedded in them that are supposed to stick to corresponding magnets that you have to superglue onto to light bar. Well guess what? They won't stay in place. The plexiglass will flex a little bit, but the magnets aren't strong enough to hold the cover on a curved bar. I should also note that even if the magnets were able to hold the cover on the bar, it was a half-inch too short on either end.

So now I'm stuck with a light bar ruined from all the magnets that have been glued it, and won't connect to its own wiring harness, and two completely useless/worthless pieces of plexiglass that I paid $50 for.

I will NEVER buy from them again.:mad::mad:

    A thing or two...
Damn, that sucks. I'd definitely look into returning it, since it sounds like it's obviously defective.

Worse case there's always cutting and extending the harness, and the connectors can be replaced with matching ones. The plexiglas can be made to work by taping it on and heating it with a heatgun to make it take the curve of the bar. However, VA inspection law has changed, and it doesn't need to be covered anymore.

My amber "fog" lights I bought from them got condensation in them in about a month. They took care of me and replaced it for free (as they should). The clears are holding up just fine now. Funny thing is, my 50 dollar 32" light bar has been through worse and no condensation. My point, they have great costumer service
