They work perfectly fine together. That is the setup I had on my truck and then sold them to @ready6delta

    A thing or two...
I've never had to remove the brakes on the few cars I've done suspension work on, but there's no telling what the shop did.

Avid Offroad front bar, BAMF behind-the-grill bar, 2 6" black oak single row light bars, Weathertechs, tailgate hose clamp mod, tailgate washer mod.....and many more to come!
Bought a takeoff set of shocks/springs with about 5k miles on them for 200 a couple months ago if that helps at all. Seemed like that was about the running price for them. Maybe just a bit on the lower end.
If you are going to take off the leafs, I'd be interested in those. Mine are looking less smiley day by day....

Edit: Hello All! Been a long time forum stalker...I've gotten a LOT out of just creeping so I figured if I actually participate, I might learn even more/help someone else playing the creeping game.

I think you should use a 2” diameter piece of pvc for the sight. Just put a cross hair on the end. It will look more proportional and you won’t have to rest your cheek on the chamber

As others have said, what is the extra free time worth to you? And is it a reduction in OT opportunities or an FLSA exempt position?

Also, is your retirement a pension based on your base salary or a 401k type thing based on your contributions?

Finally, how much does your boss’s boss make? I took a pay cut when I got promoted for the same reason you state. Not that I can’t work OT but OT opportunities were restricted for supervisors. Got promoted again and now my base is more than what I was making as a non supervisory employee.

Actually my final point was not my final point, which is what I say when counseling my squared away subordinates who are waffling on whether to promote or not.

Make a list of the idiots that outrank you, can tell you what to do, make you and your co-workers miserable and ruin an organization... then remember they are there partially because they represent the best of who applied for promotion at the time. Meanwhile others who could do the job much better chose to stay back for one reason or another.

@Darkgoatracer The spud turret took a back seat to other issues going on. I'll get around to it whenever I get back on budget.
