Hard / soft? Always on / easily removable? Water tight / water resistant?

    What are your criteria?

I've got a Bak-Flip on my 2016 TRD Sport. I think it's great. Looks good. Haven't noticed any leaks and it's been in some downpours. A bit pricey but it is worth the money.

Trd cold air intake and oil and radiator caps. 2657516 bfg ko2s. Bak revolver 2 tonneau cover, bed mat and extender. Mud flaps. Husky liner floor mats. Locking tail gate. Led bed lights. Carbon black tailgate Tacoma insert. Red Tacoma dash insert. Winco Infrared reducing window tint. Predator steps.
Backflip revolver x2. Rolls. But has aluminium slats on inside so it can't be cut and opened. Better secured items inside. Very, very minimal leaks inside even in huge rains.

Only knock is hard to close tight in freezing temps due to rubber seals losing their suppleness.

Good looking, low profile, can still use bed rails with bed hooks, and rolls up when u need bed.IMG_5758-1.jpg IMG_5757-1.jpg

I installed my retrax one mx cover this past weekend, and I love it! Easy install, and I like how I'm able to adjust the cover and position and lock the cover where I want.

From a mild OCD guy, LEER TRILOGY X2T.
I wanted something hard cover, no cable latch, lightweight.
When I bought the truck couple months ago, Ive looked at numerous covers and was a toss up between the BAKFLIP MX4 and LEER X2T.
LEER X2T requires no drilling for drain because it sits just over the rail and requires no channel where water could leak. This cover is awesome.
After numerous washes and downpours, there's maybe couple areas where water gets through but very little.

I had a really bad experience with the Pace Edwards roll up cover. It leaked really bad and zero support from the manufacturer. They essentially said did you read the instruction? Asked for a few measurements and told me "it wasn't designed to be watertight" lol . Returned it for a retrax pro mx and it worked out really well but i wanted a Topper so i ended up selling it for a Leer.

Pretty sure you are the first person on the entire internet that has one of these.

I’ve been looking on YouTube and the google machine for weeks looking for a review - all I found are the manufacturer’s stock footage stuff and maybe an install video.

So what do you think of the Sentry? Thoughts? Likes/Dislikes?

I’m looking at that, Revolver X4, and the Gatortrax.

Question for the Trifecta/Emax owners, I just got an Emax 5ft for my Taco 2017 and installed last night. I will post pictures but I'm a little shuffled by the position of the tail clamps. For them to hook properly on the metal tail clamp, it has to be at the very end of the Taco rail. Even with that, it's not "great".

Is the bar meant to be adjusted at all? I unscrewed it to check, doesn't feel like it should be moved. Overall the cover is placed correctly on the bed and looks fine from the outside.
