Alright, so I guess I'll start up a list. Copy and paste to add yo self.

    Labor Day Weekend (9/1-9/3)

    Day 1: Pearl Pass
    Day 2: Reno Divide/Italian Creek
    Day 3: Taylor Pass

Meet at 8 AM on Saturday at the Mammoth Parking Lot off of I-70 (18561 US-40, Golden, CO 80401). It's a huge lot and there is a Sunmart gas station right there. From there we head west and on to the trailhead. We will find disbursed/primitive camping along the way (or developed camping if you prefer, but I don't foresee a lot of availability). The assumption is that we will end where we started, on I-70 headed back to noise, smog, gunshots, texting and driving, hail, and weed. Come to think of it, I may never come back.

My CB will be fixed by then and I'm hoping to have my HAM license also. I've never done any of these trails before so it would be nice if someone who has tags along. See below; the first two trails are rated as moderate by Trails Offroad and difficult by the FunTreks books while the last is rated moderate by FunTreks:

    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/411-pearl-pass-co
    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/477-taylor-pass-co
    https://www.trails.com/us/co/crested-butte/italian-creek-and-reno-divide

Who is going or is likely to go:

    1) @buffedout (I mean, obviously)
    2) @CO MTN Steve

New to this thread and somewhat new toTacomaworld other than getting some stuff. Wondering if this thread is THE place to find meet and greets and get togethers etc. for CO?

Haven't been to any events or anything like that, would be awesome to!

Sorry if there is and I'm just not searching for it or finding it.

Interested in joining, although I dont have sliders, air down/up tools so I'm not sure how I would fair on Taylor Pass. This would be my first time joining a group to go.

I've never done any of these trails, but if I remember correctly from the trail guide there is a boulder field on Taylor which could pose a problem without sliders. But then, maybe you're skilled enough with tire placement and the like to avoid disaster. Me? I just run into shit.

There's a couple spots on both Taylor and Pearl that you'd probably want sliders.

You could get through without, but it might take careful driving to avoid damage.

Well, no one bit so I'm going to go ahead and cancel this one (see below). Not doing these caliber of trails without another rig. Still down to hit a trail or ten this weekend if anyone has any bright ideas.
