I'm counting on that. I already have an email off to them but I doubt I'll hear anything until Tuesday. We'll see what happens.

Here's one example. The connector on the left is from the wiring harness; the connector on the right is from the light bar (that connector broke apart).

But you can easily see that the pins on the right connector are bigger than the holes on the left connector.

 

I like the yellow headlight tint, and actually have been thinking about doing it to mine. Do you mind posting a full truck picture?

 

What kind of paint, exactly?

I just used plastic paint with clear coat over it. Plenty of threads with what kind of paint. Just type in tacoma painted engine cover

 

Hands down my favorite (and cheapest) mod so far...No more gaudy yellow warning labels on my sun visors.

 

Update: After a 100 mile day trip with the wife. She held on to it most of the day and really liked having a handle there, especially on bumpy dirt roads. (go ahead insert wife jokes, that's what she said jokes, etc...I pretty much set you up for plenty.) Learned that if you forgot to grab it before opening the door it falls to the ground. So I sowed in a magnet. It's a small mod but highly recommend.

Well.

Cali wrote back. Their solution: Cut off both connectors and splice/solder the wires together.

I can make it work but I'm still not happy with the overall situation.

Which precleaner on your snorkel ?

 

Installed the Front and rear camera anytime kit I got from anouther member. For the life of me I cannot seem to put my stereo back into the dash without scratching the plastic bezel around it.

mounted @Pelfreybilt aux fuse panel with Blue Sea fuse box, 100A breaker and 40A breaker. 40A will feed the fuse panel that will power CB and HAM, as well as protect a run to a smaller fuse panel in the bed which provides USB charging and 12v fridge power. 100A will eventually feed a Suitech relay box which will power lighting.



More work tomorrow to get CB and HAM runs into the cab.

 

What's the point in adding all these extra fuses and such?
