None, finally back in a Taco
I got to page 35, and then I read backwards 10 pages. This is all good stuff and I will revisit.

Does anyone know of a thread that compiles common minor upgrades with vendor references other than this one? There are a few annoying things when compared to my 15 OR and I am hoping not to read a metric a$$ ton of build threads.

Lastly, I run a blackvue 1650 front and am unsure about placement WRT the 18’s ENORMOUS space useage behind the mirror. Any advice???

Change how many presets like 12 to 6 then go back to 12 and they'll be gone

I bought a Mophie (spelling?) case that allows the phone to charger to charge my iPhone. It works great, it’s a slow charge, but it will keep the phone charged on a long drive.

    51. If you rotate your own tires, you need to reset the TPMS sensors. The button is a small area located near the hood release on the driver's side.

I rotated my tires last saturday, and on sunday I used the TPMS to adjust the pressure in them and all locations were accurate. I didn't reset my TPMS. I work at a tire shop and having to reprogram TPMS sensors after a rotation is only a problem on the early generation of TPMS, usually "band" style sensors instead of the valve stem style we see these days. Modern sensor usually adjust to location and pressures after few minutes/miles. I'm not sure if this has been addressed already in the 132 pages of this thread but i thought I would mention it.

Well this is embarrassing... I bought my truck new in April and had no idea the tailgate doesn’t have a power lock. All this time I assumed the rear was locked when I locked up with the remote.

    I guess it’s never been locked. o_O

Anyone know if it’s possible to lock the truck with the key fob while it’s running?

Hi guys, just picked up my new Tacoma yesterday. Drive from San Diego to Tustin because it was a great deal.

Anyway, I don’t think my front sensor is working. It’s a trd off road 2wd with the technology pack so I’m assuming it does come equipped with it, but I tried testing it and no beeping. I’ve searched through the dash settings and can’t seem to find anything. So before I take it in to the local dealer just wanted to ask here if there’s something I’m missing.

    Thanks!

The front sensor for cruise control? Or a front parking sensor, because there is no front parking sensor.

This doesn't answer your question, but might be of interest. I bought and use the 12 Volt Solutions Remote start with optional cell phone app. You can definitely lock with fob in truck, truck running. Much more useful than I would have thought as more and more businesses accept some form of mobile pay. Another example is my health club. They use an app for access and to record workouts. No longer need to take the phone and fob inside. I leave it hidden in the truck for times that the phone might not be the best idea (off-road and hiking, discharged phone, etc.).

I was referring to a parking sensor.

Thanks! I didn’t spend too much time learning the features after I signed the paperwork because I had to get out of there already. I assumed it had the parking sensor.

    Thanks again!

With the technology package, you get rear parking sensors to help with backing up and pedestrian alerts for idiots who are oblivious to their surroundings. There is no front parking sensor.
