Oh yea, that diff taking a dump mid way up on a solo run up MJT would be super awesome. I'd probably just jump out and let it endo down the switchbacks and start walking home...

@NYCO @Gramps how are you all liking the tire tucked in the bed on the new swingouts? Is there still the bouncing of weight back there like with traditional spare tire swingouts?

I noticed the highway bouncing has been reduced with it tucked in closer... sometimes you get those sections of highway where the truck gets into a rhythm of bouncing..

Off road it's tough to tell, but the clearance is definitely much better when dropping ledges or climbing steep walls.

I do need to secure this setup better since it is moving a bit, but that should be solved with a few bolts on each side similar to the TC bed stiffener.

I’m going to be driving out to Montana next summer to pick up a go fast camper. I’ll have to hit you up for some advice on where to go out there.

Pretty much what Bob said minus needing to secure it better. Mine has been good so far.

will definitely be back up there to explore more...

PJ was bad ass...great to finally see them live.. missoula was a cool little town to walk around in too

explored wilderness on the ID/MT border after since glacier was closed on the west side... scouted out some amazing areas over there

tons of smoke especially heading south on i15 into ID over to the tetons...

got some great camp spots now on the west and east side of the tetons

only down side of the trip was the rear end falling apart 500mi from home

Hey Bob coming back to this, I’m looking at the deaver stage 3 pack. And do you know if the BAMF shackle design has been revised? Was it the hangers or just the greasable shackles?

    Thanks man.

The hanger I believe is the same or similar, the shackle was redesigned. It no longer contacts the hanger as the first release did.

The first design was a boomerang design similar to the OEM but more dramatic of an angle. Now it's straight and slimmer.

I have the deaver stage 2 and it sits fine now...
