Right, he has. But with all the new updates hes putting out, its going to raise more questions. This 1.05 is fairly new in terms of when it was first brought up. Suddenly not making a date you put out whih little explanation is frustrating.

 

Get over it. Produce a tune yourself if it's tearing you up that much.

If I understand the developments of recent weeks correctly...

Once you install (or the dealer installs) this new Toyota TSB, there is no going back to the prior factory tune.

Once you have the new TSB installed, you can only use OVTune v1.04r or higher.

The upcoming v1.05 will incorporate the new Toyota TSB, so once you flash to v1.05 you won't be able to go back to any prior tune.

THEREFORE

Mat cannot and should not release v1.05 as a general release until it has been thoroughly tested. That's why we gotta wait . . .

Can you see what Toyota changed in the latest TSB? Did they change all the tables and/or disable the learning as you did in 1.03? I've been running the latest Toyota update for a few weeks while waiting for 1.05 and havn't noticed any "learning", the shift points seem pretty consistent.

I’ll wait as long as it takes for 105. I spent all day at Pismo dunes and the bog/studder between 1500 to 2000 rpm sucks. Once I was above 2500 to 6000rpm the truck digs hard and pulls good. It’s just really hard to roll into something and time the bog vs having a truck that just pulls.

I could not imagine trying to drive the dunes without OVTune.

Patiently waiting.

 

Waiting for a plug and play power programmer setup, so that virtually anybody, especially those who are not exactly computer savy, can enjoy the OVTune.
