Ya I eventually saw their statement on a thread here. It’s a shame though. I’ve never heard a bad word about that company. I hope they get back on their feet soon

Alternating ibuprofen and tylenol got us through many baby fevers. Ibuprofen wears off afte 4 hours but can't be given again yet so you can use tylenol. They work differently. Liver vs kidney:)

Now this bearing assembly is stuck 1/2 off. I think I'm going to have to go to the store in the morning and buy a chisel to wedge in there and pop it off. I've used two screwdrivers and now it starts to spin but doesn't come off any further. This is by no means a piece of cake. I am so beat and long since out of beer.

Our pediatrician told us to do the same for fevers. Dose every 3-4 hours, alternating between ibuprofen and acetometiphin. They both help the fever but don't build on one another. They never said the part about liver vs kidney as being the reason so I learned something today

FINALLY! I had to use a full size sledgehammer and hit the nut at least 5x and then it finally fell. I just hope I don't put the left wheel bearing assembly on the right side and the right wheel bearing assembly on the left side ;)
At some point I need to go to bed because I'm in the driveway and not a garage

BTW there is SOOO much rust in this thing...

Ok shoot me now. Axel nut thread is smushed from the sledge hammering. I need someplace to buy one tomorrow. I think the part is W0133-1812200. I can't find it right now on the autozone website. And of course I was working without mechanics gloves for like two minutes and just sliced my finger...great

Your project here sounds a lot like most I do. Go in for a somewhat simple job, break things, injure myself and be without the vehcile for 2-3 extra days waiting on the part replacements for the ones I broke.

    Good luck sir!

It's the very end of the very last loop of the thread. I'm sure it's 'fixable' but I don't have any kind of tap/die and it's a $3 nut so i was hoping to buy one and just use this one when i need to hammer off the other side.
I couldn't find the specs for the nut anywhere as far as size/threading.
I was really hoping the nut was a softer metal than the axel and the thread would fix by careful tightening and backing off and cleaning.

No I meant personally had a spare BUT forget it. After I posted it I went and found it and tried to match it up to a factory axel I have and it does not fit. The aftermarket axles are much smaller in diameter. Sorry buddy

Yeah I found that one. I was looking for something open today for pick up today though. This is going to be a real pain.
    Thanks for looking.

Had a great Clam bake yesterday. GF and I got the seaweed from the canal on Saturday (only place you can find 4 potatoe sacks full in 20minutes). Yesterday morning built the pit and food was ready around 4. Awesome day for it.
