Spark Plugs? I’d say maybe 30,000 miles ago.

I should add it only vibrates sometimes. If I’m at a stoplight it’ll vibrate for three seconds and stop. Or sometimes it’ll never stop.

This only happens at a stop. Never while moving.

I’m not sure. I’ll have to check.

Could it be a vacuum issue?

Lol. It’s easy now that we know. I was telling @Uphillshunter if only I had the front bolts on that leaf pack it would of been done that day. Shackles actually came off once you got the front leaf pack undone.

Having more weight on the truck actually made the suspension feel better for me. When I changed out mine I felt that the new suspension was a little firm than my stock setup. That’s before I put on some armor. But I can’t really tell that much of a difference since I change the suspension out within a month of having my truck. I didn’t drive it much either.

Changed out my crappy Dorman tailgate straps for good OEM ones.

No more cables hanging out of the tailgate.

Totally forgot to take an after shot, but they don’t hangout anymore.

Here’s a difference between OEM and Aftermarket. OEM on Left.

IIRC Dakar travel numbers are not great. @Squeaky Penguin know anyone else who cycled Dakar's?

Im tempted to break the pack down again and try to stuff it vertically, I was hoping for at least 10"

Yesterday, since the nutserts arrived, I mostly finished this before it started raining.. .
    20180902_225712.jpg
There are 5 each, 3/8-16 steel nutserts on each floor rail. The rails stand above the floor convolutions about a half inch. The upper rails are held on by two nutserts on a side, for now. I will add two to each, and two to the front strip. Then I will bolt the sides to the front so they share the load.

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
You're not going to get more than 10".

Someone posted in my build last spring when I was setting up my shocks that had cycled Dakars. Think he was right at 9".

Found it. Also my post where I initially cycled and measured.

What kept you from going higher, how negative the pack was? I know it’s a topic of some debate here but supposedly Dakar’s can go more negative than some packs per design.

It was just about where it would be touching the stock bump, Im sure you could cut the bump off the frame and get an extra inch but I haven't looked into that much. But it was pretty negative.

If you want to confirm if its the tranny or not, the next time it starts to vibrate put it in neutral.

I kinda have the same situation but mine happens when I'm traveling/cruising at 70mph. Or maybe its my imagination since I was tired during those roadtrips....

Went to replace my AC belt today so I can have a little cold air. Found out the compressor clutch is shot. I've got about 3/16" or so of play, and there are bearings missing from the clutch itself as evidenced by the way it catches when I try to turn it.

Question is, can the clutch be replaced in the truck? I rather doubt it which mean I will have to pay someone to evacuate the system, at the very least. I have a vac pump but nowhere to put the refrigerant

Let’s say it still happens in Neutral. What then?
