@EatSleepTacos have you had any problems with ur fridge not wanting to run on hot days?

 

I don't leave it running 24/7. But on hot days, sometimes the compressor just can't keep it cold enough. It'll run as much as it can and still not hit target temp. That's where the insulating fridge cover comes into play.

 

So I have both but mine is shutting off completely and flashing orange witch my owners Manuel says nothing about. But when I start the truck it’ll run again. I’ve got my shut off setting on 10.4. But my battery will be at 12.4 when it shuts off.

 

Flashing orange means it shut off from the battery cut off. How are you measuring the 12.4?

 

The volt meteor in the truck. Guess I need to check the plug itself maybe a bag ground?

 

I'd take a multimeter to the battery itself to check the voltage on it. Also it's possible when the compressor kicks on, the power draw drops the voltage below the cut off.

 

The voltage drops .4 when it kicks on. I’ll have to go buy a multimeter

 

What gauge wire are you running from the battery/aux fuse box to the outlet that the fridge is plugged into? What is the current draw of the fridge? With that voltage drop when the fridge cycles on, either your battery is getting ready to take a dump or the wiring to the fridge needs to be bigger.

It’s funny there is no loyalty in this community even after a very good reputation has been built with awesome products to benefit us all. I would Give them a chance to right the ship especially if you are already waiting 2-3 months for something. If you ordered and we’re supposed to have it currently i would Probably be more upset but things happen. I hope They fix it cus i want that dual rear swingout and a front aluminum soon. Time will tell but i think They deserve our support.

 

Alright the voltage on all my plugs are 12.43V the fridge looks fine plugged into the wall plug @buyobuyo @EatSleepTacos

 

I'm really not sure.

 

Wish I knew more about electrical

 

I'd just contact Dometic support and see what they say.
