    Yup, dirt and rock fireroad...
    There's a few patches of blacktop along the trail by Bowman, but they're minimal. There's a paved campground between Sawmill and Faucherie, but all the dispersed spots along the trail are dirt. I'm not quite sure where @HAVING FUN was...
    (and the route from 89 is much more tame, so that's why you get cars in there)

    Usually cars can make it from the 89 side. Just surprised the bug made it so well threw the switch backs getting to the dam.
    I was at Canyon creek CG. The whole area was packed, I wasnt taking a chance doing disperse camping in fire restriction.

    Almost headed where you guys where, looked like I would have to be on the babysitting crew.
