Who's ready for the Sons of Anarchy spinoff?



The season premier on FXTuesday September 4th

Mayans M.C. is the next chapter in Kurt Sutter’s award-winning Sons of Anarchy saga.


Set in a post-Jax Teller world, Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo) is fresh out of prison and a prospect in the Mayans M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Now, EZ must carve out his new identity in a town where he was once the golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp.

Anybody have any spoilers or thoughts as t whats going to happen?

I’ve been watching all the YouTube spoilers. I also watched the comic con panel that’s online. They are a bunch of likable guys.

I guess the creator and Jax didn’t get along, I’m thinking that’s why he was killed off. That way he can’t come back.

 

Yep totally looking forward to it couple more weeks

I was hoping for a season or two about Abel and his little Brother. But I will take the Mayans, while Curt Sutter lets them grow up

 

I hear he might be working on a prequel, The first 9. But that might just be a movie.

 

Just started watching SoA again. i forgot how bad the 1st season was. No character development, short hair, no beards. Very unrealistic. Fingers crossed for the new show because Sutters last medieval trash sucked.

 

I'm rewatching the series also. I'm in season 4 at the moment. I can believe what bad luck these guys have. Just when you think it's turning around, Bam! someone f's it up.

I hope this new show works. I'm looking forward to a good show to watch.

 

So, AMC ended up releasing it a few days again, online, by accident. I am watching it now.

Just finished first episode! Damn it's good. Lots of subtitles, so be prepared to read. Just like SAMCRO, lots of little things to catch to try and piece together. Yes, SAMCRO makes a small appearance.

That's all I have to say until y'all get to watch it.

I have an app that does a little searching for all the shows that I watch. I was surprised when it said this had downloaded a few days ago. I finally got a chance to sit down and watch... to see if it was for real. It was for real and good. AMC released it early, for critics, some of them release it to the Internet. If you search, you can find it. Or wait ~30 hours.

 

Thanks Gotcha: I will wait vs watching it on my phone/computer or watching it on my 65" TV. But I am glad to know that you thought it was good.

 

They need to do a Prequel series of the First Nine! Right after the Vietnam War and the beginning of SAMCRO

 

Yeah, I watched it on my 44” TV, was good.

They have talked about it. I think continuing on first made since for continuity, less likely to make a major mistake. The prequel will be a fun one, maybe a mini series.
