Whats wrong with stock? There is no power increase seen in the 3RZ by running a ricer intake.

Honestly, I'd stick with the stock filter if I hadn't already bought the AFE :anonymous:

lol well, to its credit I've only actually washed it like twice in the last 4 years. Aside from that, a shop vac treatment here and there and the thing is super clean.

I know it doesn’t increase any power.

I just like how it sounds.

And I can’t do the deckplate mod, because I would fail SMOG for modifying the intake system.

They were pressed in, not threaded. Shoddy worksmanship at the factory. Thread the hole and install better zerks.

It's the same procedure for either. There is a 10mm bolt in the center that needs to come out first. I used a strap wrench to keep the compressor from spinning. Once the bolts out the clutch should slide off. I used a puller to get it off but the 4r didn't have room so we just used a pry bar on top and bottom. Then there is a snap ring holding the pulley on. For me it was easiest to unbolt the compressor mounts and angle it so I could see what was going on. The pulley should then slide off with the bearing. Then there is another snap ring holding the coil on.

I installed Daystar airbag cradles on the bottom mounts, that way the airbag can pull away from the axle when fully flexed. Drove it to work today (43 miles) with 10 psig in the airbags, it was just a little bit stiffer then usual but not bad.

I'm thinking the a motor mount issue..

    Also I'm not sure why I wasn't notified @BartMaster1234 of your post..weird..

Check motor mounts, check tranny fluid level. Also did you replace your torque converter when you replaced the transmission? Can't remember.

Yes I used my original torque converter because the one that came with the A340F was warped. There is a different stall speed between the A340E and A340F TC’s.

I checked transmission fluid level, it’s normal. Motor mounts are original as far as I know.

I've heard peeps had issues with vibrations with the angle of the shaft after the carrier bearing. Some used some washers to lower the carrier bearing to fix that, hopefully someone chimes in on that to confirm that.
