Why is no one sharing the names of these dealers with the long Tacoma discounts?

I got my pro from sparks Toyota in myrtle beach. They set the all time sales record of over 400 new vehicles sold in August. Sales manager told me if I would have showed up on sept 1 they would of told me to get fucked offering them less then sticker price. I got a huge amount off sticker being it was end of the month.

You have the premium package which includes auto headlights. Non tech packages or tech packages only don’t have auto headlights with a light sensor.

I highly doubt he paid that considering dealer invoice and cost is 40,300 for the pro. Why they would sell and take a loss is beyond me. Something is off here....

I'm skeptical too, but have no specific reason to doubt anyone. But I'm glad I came across this thread regardless. We got $4500 off a new 4x4 Tacoma T-Force back in 2014. Looking for 2018 TRD Off Road or Pro now, and I would never have thought to push for much more than $4500 again, if I hadn't read this thread.

I see some pretty good deals. But remember dealers never lose money or will ever sell a car at lost, I do not give a sh*t what they say or show me their bs invoice/net/ msrp...

At the the end as long as you are happy with the price you paid then you are the winner.

I am about to close a deal on a 2018 cement dclb loaded T/P package... will post once I take delivery

Just scored $3,500 off MSRP on a TRD Pro, cash and no trade. Only a few here in Atlanta and dealers arent budging much on price so I think that's fair what I got. When I was considering a Tacoma and selling my Wrangler last week I stopped a guy in my ex wife's neighborhood who had a new TRD Sport and asked him how he liked the new Tacomas. He simply whipped out his business card which said he was the sales manager at a local dealer and said he loved them of course haha. I sold the Wrangler yesterday privately and bought the Pro in Calvary Blue today from him. It pays to meet or build a rapport with someone or know a friend of a friend in the industry. The last dealer I went to refused to budge from any more than $1,000 off MSRP even though I had cash.

Nalley Toyota Stonecrest in Lithonia BTW.

Dealers could careless if you have cash or not. Most would prefer the financing through Toyota since they also get a kick back from that.

I agree cash is the way to go but it won’t help ya get a deal. I still think end of the month, and end of the summer before the new model years arrive are the best time.

I bought mine 2k below invoice.

Also, he said cash talks but not to dealers. They want you to finance through them so they can make more money. So cash isn’t a good negotiating tactic in my opinion. But idk, highly possible especially with dealers trying to offload 2018 models.

I agree. I only mentioned I paid cash so others could see they didnt give me that $3,500 discount and then f**k me on the financing to make up for it. That discount is straight off MSRP, no trade or financing hidden games. And yes, they tried to get me to finance 48-60 months anyway to "save your cash" as they said but no thanks. I enjoy having no car payment. Obviously they wanted the finance profit.

    This cannot be overstated
OUT THE DOOR IS NOT A GOOD COMPARISON
Rebates, incentives, taxes, titles, licensing, and other things make it next to impossible to compare as these change all the time. Post your price before these and trade ins so people can have a decent comparison.
