Had the truck “officially” weighed... I’ve crossed a lot of “bridges” on trails and no matter what the rating is, I’m always, “Yeah, I’m sure I’m under that weight”

Well, no more crossed fingers :fingerscrossed: LOL

    Anyone else weigh their truck?

Every little thing you add to the truck adds up... and fast. I will go back to the scale once I install a lift and tires.

And I really need to weigh my truck fully loaded. We are leaving on a trip in a week, maybe I can get it done then.

If your near a local land fill, take over some trash and get weighed. Usually they have a minimum fee for garbage, some accept metal for free. Depending on the person running the scale they may just let you drive on and drive off with no charge.

My lady and I in the truck, full tank of gas and miscellaneous gear in the cab

Only thing ordinarily packed on a camp or trail trip is 5 gallons of fresh water and whatever food we pack in our fridge

Cat Scales are located all around CA and they charged me 11 bucks and some change. Rock Quaries and Dumps have “public scales” and most will allow you to weigh in for free.

I just wanted a print out from a “certified scale”. Makes no difference in the end, I’m sure

It’s just good to know the physical height and weight of your truck. No more crossed fingers LOL
