    The only benefit to your ankle situation is being able to ride the scooters at the grocery stores.

    When I ruptured my Achilles some years ago, I rode one, once. I made a little sign to hang on the basket that read "heading to the Grand Canyon". That got me some laughs and some dude had had his wife take a picture of him with my scooter and me in the frozen aisle.
