    Here are the numbers

    Steer Axle : 3200lbs

    Drive Axle : 3080

    Total Axle : 6280lbs

She’s porky... Decent F/R ratio... better than I expected

Considering I’m getting 14-17mpg depending on where we are camping, I’m pretty happy

I need to do a weigh in at some point.

With a prerunner, utility package (deleted rear seats), and 4 cylinder, the base weight starts with a "3" from the factory... unloaded of course, and only just barely. (3980 lbs according to Toyota spec sheet, but that does not specify if it was measured as utility package or full trim)

Of course I have put armor on since then, but not more than 100 lbs or so.

Easiest ways to put the truck on a diet would be fiberglass hood and lithium battery, should net you out close to 100lbs lost (and over the front axle at that!)
Lightweight rotors and calipers (big brake kit) would be next and shaves another 25 pounds or so if I remember the number from a thread where a TW member installed the wilwood kit.
After that would be fiberglass fenders and bedsides, and once you do that you're pretty much at the limit of "easy" and you've gotta dig deep into your pockets (likely pointlessly deep) to shave off any more.
1 small adult in weight lost isn't much to scoff at though!

Ah, you’re right.... I was passed by a tandem tanker, in Nevada, doing 80 while I was clinging on to dear life at 60mph in my Jeep with a gnarly headwind.... on our way back from Wyoming.... dead of winter....

You’re right... I’ve got her setup pretty much how we’ve needed her to be... sliders and rear bumper are probably the last things to empty my wallet LOL

I was a little over your actual number. Haha

We're headed for the Pacific Northwest. Minimum 26 days on the road. And feel free to pm me with any questions you may have about SD.

So jelly. Make sure you take the scenic byway when you get to Prairie Creek SP in Humboldt. Some of the trees next to the road will be close to the size of your truck
