What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Holy Nonsensical Lawsuit Warnings Batman!! I spent the afternoon removing the myriad of attorney induced warning stickers from my new Tacoma. I’m surprised there wasn’t a cancer warning sticker affixed to the truck as well. I guess it’s been quite some time since I’ve bought a new four by four so all the stickers came as a surprise.

 

FWIW, I've been very happy with my MBRP dual exhaust in stainless. Initially, it was what someone else here described as "buzzy", but mellowed out over two or four weeks.

I have picked up one of those Patriot screw restrictors, though, as the system does drone a bit at cruising speeds. It's not obnoxious, but a slight tweak is worth a try.

 

I’m glad you’ve been able to make the necessary adjustment. It definitely gives others an option that they can do if they are not happy with their MBRP systems. I can’t wait for this new system! It’s going to be badass!

 

Finally got around and added the foam inserts from TufSkinz. These are made very well and adds a little protection from spills and other small hazards. The quality and packaging is worth every penny.

 

After you do it you will really like the sound.

What solar panel is that and how well does that intake work? Any gain in power or MPG? I heard they aren't worth it. Whats your opinion?

Renogy monocrystalline slim version. Powerwise...uhh don’t know can’t tell, but it sounds cool lol..as for mpg. I did see a slight increase, maybe less than 1mpg or so

installed the dashtop multi mount earlier and now just gotta wait for my ram mounts to come in.

 

Installed my @XenonDepot HID low beam kit. Still need to decide on which fogs to run, might try the Morimoto or maybe some LED bulbs in the stock housing. Worried about blinding people though.

 

Two more mods today. 8” all in one subwoofer & extra usb for the back seat.

I hear ya! I’ve seen so many custom Tacoma’s on my current trip to CO, compared to my first road trip in November 2015 to Flagstaff, when I only saw one!

 

Over the weekend, The wifey and I purchased a 2018 TRD OR 4runner. Also recieved my retrax one mx cover and installed it before heading out to Vegas.
