I'll literally road trip anywhere in the country and give you full rights to any images of my truck with/without Turbos cause wtf booooost. And will replace my own clutch, which is probably doomed lol.

I have experience with turbos and racing things way faster than this Tacoma, would be happy to help out where possible.

My truck also looks good and is on dirty fives so.... I'd like to thank everyone who lost

So with all your knowledge with turbos and tuning capabilities, may I ask what your LC500 is putting out or what you goal is?

3rd gen already uses synthetic oil from the factory. I don't think conventional 0W-20 is even available.

Typically you'd want to run the highest octane fuel you can get from the pump, when driving a turbocharged vehicle. Most cases will be 91 octane. If you can't swing that, then a turbo kit is definitely not for you. Lower octane + boost = detonation, which = blown engine.

The oil debate......... do you "have" to run synthetic? No. Should you? Probably. Is this any different with a turbo installed? No.

Yes, with significantly reduced timing (which equates to less HP). Premium fuel is however recommended. If the vehicle is tuned, it is almost always mandatory due to the aggressive timing tables.

My F150 ecoboost runs fine on 87. Can’t imagine spending the extra for 91.
