New wheel day for me. I picked up a set of 17” T Force wheels courtesy of @13txtaco that were plastidipped. I finally got around yesterday to stripping and painting them yesterday:

I went with gunmetal with a clear coat and while I was at, I decided to paint my badges to match. I did the V6 as an experiment, thinking I would just remove it if I didn’t like it, but so far, I’m happy with the result:

    Got the wheels mounted today:

Still trying to decide wheel caps or no wheel caps. The front discs look great, but the rear drums don't. Next up, I'll paint the side Tacoma badges, then probably remove the bed decal.

Any local people looking for a good shop to do a wheel swap, Dallas Brake and Alignment in the Design District did mine for $25/wheel including full balance and TPMS.

The sub looks like its pretty cheap but how does it sound? And what do you need to connect it to the stock radio? Anything special? And did you need a separate amp?

I am installing a 4 Wheel Camper when it is finished at the end of October and pulled my tailgate this past weekend. On Labor Day I spent some time relocating my camera. After trying many locations, I settled for using the tailgate mount in the hole over the license plate.

The plug goes in at an angle so the hole needs to be a little bigger. I marked the area with tape and used a dremel to cut a lager hole.

With just a couple of drilled holes and a couple of screws, flat washers and locking nuts I was able to complete the install.

Here is two views of the completed install.

Installed the Subaru Kicker tweeters, and JBL GT series 6x9 & 6.5 with factory entune premium head unit. Much better. Then finished de-badging, no more TRDOR stickers, V6 or TACOMA. Hopefully the SR5 grill shows today, would like to start working on painting the chrome bezel black so I can install it this week.

Thinking about doing the plastic trim around the bottom of the shift boot and the plastic trim by the navigation white to match the knob. Seen some pics of it. Looks nice. And hey, thanks for the compliment!!

I for one would be interested to hear of your experience after using this kit. Who makes it? Got a part number? Thanks!
