Not sure that i want to go with resivor shocks. I dont plan to go fast, im more of a crawl slow kind of guy. I would like to get more travel out of my new ones though. Probably going to get some new leaf springs also.

haha. Im not going flat bed and i dont plan to jump the truck. It will be going slow and keeping all 4 on the floor.

So what i would like is something to get a little more travel in the rear but not have to re locate shock towers, fab up new mount points, etc. Still paying on the truck. Once its paid off then we will talk more about cutting and welding on the truck.

Don’t you carry heavier items and are going to be towing a trailer? Resis will extend the life of the shocks before they need to be rebuilt and keep that oil cooler.

I have a trailer that i am building/restoring right now. The tongue is starting to get a little heavy. Even more when the cooler is loaded up, and gear is packed into the tongue box.

    Latest update on the trailer...
    • got the grill in the trailer, 22" blackstone griddle, now to design/build cabinets around it.
    • Lots electronics sitting waiting to be installed (LED lights, light switches, radio, speakers, power inlet, etc) Pretty much all the electronics are there, just needs to be installed.
    • new 2" ball bull dog ball hitch being welded on

Its a bit larger than expected but that is ok. Plenty of cook space!

Also as an FYI on these griddles...

How did you season your grill? And have you had any issues with warping?

Heat it with mapping gas torch and use a nut extractor , Sears or northern tool has nut extractors. You can also use a chisel or punch .
