1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I refinished my 2nd gen wheels. Never again. Those 4Runner wheels will sit until I save up the money.

 

I don't mind as much since I am currently on my SR5 wheels - those 4Runner wheels are sitting in boxes and most likely will continue to wait for some time. Those god awful 2nd gens are waiting for a CL buyer.

 

I shop around now. Sometimes I'll even give Amazon heads up on a better deal. I even chatted with them and said NO TAX + FREE SHIPPING. If I had to spell it out even more I'm just gonna cut the chat off before I get pissed.

 

When your ready to do it, atleast pay to have them sandblasted. My paint job turned out fine. Its the corners and crevices where I couldnt get all the old finish off with the wire wheel that look bad. Most people dont notice, but it bothers me.

I wont even chat with them online. I've been fortunate, no real issues with them other than the occasional missed prime delivery time frame. A simple quick call and they extend prime by a month and that's that.

Yes But mine has no original parts (seriously... by the time I’m done it’ll have new doors, new frame, new engine. Rebuilt trans, a bunch of 4Runner parts, some other random shit.)
