    They’re an 81 piece set of gage blocks all ground to be within 0.00005, we use them for exact measurement or setting up a sine plate for exact angles. The faces are ground in such a way that you ring them together and they will stick to one another.

    Looks like a arbor press. The rod on the wheel is for exactly smashing to a given thickness. My guess.:notsure:

    Yep it is a Fly Press I have not done the math out yet but somewhere north of 10 tons :} Age indeterminate 40 to 60 years old. Not many of them around and even fewer people who know what they are and what they can do .
