I've thought about tech support but I might blow my brains out haha. I've gotten quite a bit of job offers to work on navy equipment as a civilian contractor. I like the cyber security side of being an IT more than the tech support side, I hate dealing with computer stupid people

 

Time to work out some pre work frustration for them fools calling 911 tomorrow. Some peeps are going to pay for this shit on the xbox.

 

Haha whys that? I was thinking about law enforcement. Something with computers that wont require me to sit at a desk all day

It's alright for a while and don't get me wrong I'm still a trauma junkie after 23 years but just the level of stupidity calling these days for an ambulance is fucking ridiculous. They call us for everything and then while your taking someone to the ER because they've been sick for 2 weeks and didn't bother to find a way until 3 am you hear a call go out for something serious that really needs an ambulance. Of course you're tied up with some bs and can't respond so they get a delay in care waiting for another truck to come from twice as far away.

 

Check into aerospace then. They love to hire veterans and obviously security is a huge thing. General electric would be a good place .

I need to figure out what antenna to get for the HAM. I want to mount it on the Relentless Fab hood mounts I bought. I'm gonna go with a Firestik II for the CB.

So the deal with the antenna is that you can get by a ton better with low power and a good antenna better than you can high power and a crap antenna. I have a commet

I've met guys that run that one on their Jeep. You could also get a non folding one and just keep a cap for when you want to take it off too I'd you'd like. Just a couple quick turns to take it off

I'd also just get the 18" one too. All you really need.

 

And this is the cord you'll want. Something like this. Although you'll have to research a few things. The thickness of your mount. And that you can bore the hole out in the bracket to fit this through it. I believe it's a common deal with that bracket.
