Looks to be a seperate bezel, with a really well-executed fitup. I'd need a closer/higher-rez pic to be sure.

Maybe. If you consider all crankshaft pulleys a harmonic balancer. A true harmonic damper a has a counter weight. And if I/m not mistaken includes a three piece design, where a solid section of rubber dampers the two metal halves.

I'm surprised how common those Rostra kits are. I'm going to assume some of them were a dealer option.

Do our trucks have front impact airbag sensors like the 3rd Gen 4Runner? I've never seen it before working in the engine bay.

I don't have them on either of my trucks. Must have been introduced in 2001-ish.

I don't have it. I believe earlier trucks have the accelerometer/G-Force based SRS system.

I should be more clear. They are located on each side of the engine lower down on the wheel well. One should be found under the fuse box area and the opposite of that on the other side

Pretty sure I don't have it. I've taken the fuse box out of my 5-Lug to replace the main 80A? fuse, and the intake out of my PreRunner. Never saw a yellow wire loom anywhere in the vicinity.

I find it strange you don't have the electronic throttle body. I was sure all 2003/2004 trucks had it.

The airbag sensors? I'll have to check again.

That's what I thought, the accelerometer/g-force based system. I was curious about how say an ARB bumper would affect functionality of frontal airbag sensors.

I know. But ARB has an explicit notice for something regarding airbag sensor functionality.

I’m curious if this is just their legal team protecting their asses, or if there’s truly any kind of risk.
