If you get the snorkel, will Toyota remove the phony hood scoop? Seems like they would want to avoid ruining the hoax. Also don’t want to repeat after the Tundra TRD Off Road Pro having two hood scoops...

They had the same ring in 2017 for a bit and it never happened.

My zip only showed blue available, no MT, no option packages.

So no performance upgrades? I think Toyota is dropping the ball on the Pro. The difference between the f150 and the raptor are night and day. And I feel like the pro should be the raptor of tacomas haha

Depends on how much you spent on your OR. I spent 32,500. With a starting price of 45,395.... Eeeek!!!

If the moonroof is standard il never buy another pro. Never want another one, one of my duramaxs had one and it leaked like a bastard. I see the base price went up like 3 grand. Ppl will pay it though and there will be a wait for them.

I know some people like voodoo blue. I think it does not look good with all the black accents on the Pro. It also makes the truck look like it's made of plastic.

The difference between a pro and an off-road are night and day. Do some research haha.

I was still hopping for Apple Play, but it's not an option on any of the 2019. Looks like the pro has a few new features (snorkel not withstanding) but the Sport and OR look pretty much the same. Didn't compare the pricing closely with the 2018's but the Sport and OR seem about in the same ball park. /sigh/ Well maybe they fixed the transmission.

Looks as if JBL sound is only available on the automatic and not the manual Pro. Why Toyota??

Hey now, Chevys excel at falling apart but that doesn’t mean a Toyota will too. My 2001 Taco had a factory sunroof and it worked perfectly through 2016 when I sold it.

I hope they don't have a sunroof. I like the headroom and since everyone and their mom on this forum will argue to death that the pro is just barely a dressed up OR which does have the sunroof, why not just pick up that one if you want it?

On a more related note, toyota really needs to differentiate all of the tacoma lineup. The sport and limited should be street focused, clear differences between the two. Or and pro for offroad, also clear differences between the two. And then major differences between the two lines- maybe 2wd vs 4wd.

I think its just a bad artist rendering. This is even prominent when you build a 2018 TRD Pro.

I compared the specs between the Pro and OR. The Pro just seems to have the moonroof and red insert in the skid plate that's new. Only Voodoo Blue with an auto is now available. It lists a MT, but not available yet. The kicker is 2000-3000 more. Glad I got a 2018 Pro. Oh, and the speculation about another inch lift was just that. The height is the same as the 2018s.
